Sucide-American Mean

America's first Industrial music outfit, Suicide recorded American Mean in the aftermath of 9/11. Led by subversive poet Alan Vega, Suicide built their reputation by being too extreme for the punks. On their 2002 album "American Supreme", Suicide lays out the social and political atmosphere of the United States. The ascendancy of George W. Bush, 9/11 and the implementation of the Patriot Act simply confirmed what Vega and his musical partner Martin Rev always felt about the U$A. American Mean is the most poetic intellectual anti-American song ever made.
